I first came across My Tubes Cosmetics on Instagram, and, this hardly ever happens, but something about this artistic indie brand completely reeled me in – so much so that I ended up buying a few random bits from their website, including this palette.
My delivery took quite a while to get to me, which was to be expected because it was being shipped from LA, but once it had arrived, I saw that everything had been packed together really well to prevent any breakages. My initial impressions of the palette were pretty neutral – it’s quite small and light to hold, and it has a nice mirror in the lid, which I always appreciate.
Here are the swatches…
I’m pleasantly surprised by how much I’ve grown to love this humble, no frills palette – the colours are beautifully pigmented and seamless to blend, in fact, the deep brown shade, Camilla, has fast become one of my favourite transition colours, and I’ve found myself reaching for this palette quite often since I’ve had it. Happy days ♥
See you soon,
